If a person becomes deaf, they have a remembrance and familiarity of sound. If a person becomes blind, they have a remembrance and familiarity of the visual world. But, what of those born blind or born deaf? How do they know and believe the invisible, imperceptible? By faith! What of those (like myself) born totally color blind, not seeing a single color…living in a world of black and white. How would I know colors exist since I’ve never seen them? I take it by faith. Should mental or physical ability affect credulity? Is it possible to believe something exists that I’ve never seen? My simple mind thinks of pure air and pure water. They are unseen but vital.

Now imagine being born physically perfect yet spiritually afflicted. Imagine ears that hear all things except the voice of God…eyes that see all things except the light of truth. This is the case of many. We are born into tradition and follow along blindly in the footsteps of those who have gone on before us never questioning why or whether it is the right way.

Have you noticed that even a small child will not stay long confined to her crib? She will explore. Something in her says, “there must be more and I must have it”. We shall do the same. Come with me as we step outside our traditions and explore the reasons why we do what we do. I promise there IS more and it IS worth having. Can we help the way we were born? No. Is there help FOR the way we were born? Yes. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” – John 8:32

Pray Silently, Continually

Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord! Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore! 1 Chronicles 16:10, 11, NKJV. Prayer is not understood as it should be. Our prayers are not to inform God of something He does not know. The Lord is acquainted with the secrets of every soul. Our prayers need not be long and loud. God reads the hidden thoughts. We may pray in secret, and He who sees in secret will hear, and will reward us openly. The prayers that are offered to God to tell Him of all our wretchedness, when we do not feel wretched at all, are the prayers of hypocrisy. It is the contrite prayer that the Lord regards. “For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” Prayer is not intended to work any change in God; it brings us into harmony with God. It does not take the place of duty. Prayer offered ever so often and ever so earnestly will never be accepted by God in the place of our tithe. Prayer will not pay our debts to God…. The strength acquired in prayer to God will prepare us for our daily duties. The temptations to which we are daily exposed make prayer a necessity. In order that we may be kept by the power of God through faith, the desires of the mind should be continually ascending in silent prayer. When we are surrounded by influences calculated to lead us away from God, our petitions for help and strength must be unwearied. Unless this is so, we shall never be successful in breaking down pride and overcoming the power of temptation to sinful indulgences which keep us from the Savior. The light of truth, sanctifying the life, will discover to the receiver the sinful passions of the heart which are striving for the mastery, and which make it necessary … to stretch every nerve and exert all the powers to resist Satan that he or she may conquer through the merits of Christ.–Messages to Young People, 247, 248.

God’s Law Leads to True Repentance

Perhaps everyone will listen and turn from his evil way, that I may relent concerning the calamity which I purpose to bring on them because of the evil of their doings. Jeremiah 26:3, NKJV. [The apostle Paul writes that] “I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.” … The law which promised life to the obedient pronounced death upon the transgressor. “Wherefore,” he says, “the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.” How wide the contrast between these words of Paul and those that come from many of the pulpits of today. The people are taught that obedience to God’s law is not necessary to salvation; that they have only to believe in Jesus, and they are safe. Without the law, human beings have no conviction of sin, and feel no need of repentance. Not seeing their lost condition as violators of God’s law, they do not feel their need of the atoning blood of Christ as their only hope of salvation. The law of God is an agent in every genuine conversion. There can be no true repentance without conviction of sin. The Scriptures declare that “sin is the transgression of the law,” and that “by the law is the knowledge of sin.” In order to see their guilt, sinners must test their character by God’s great standard of righteousness. To discover their defects, they must look into the mirror of the divine statutes. But while the law reveals their sins, it provides no remedy. The gospel of Christ alone can offer pardon. In order to stand forgiven, sinners must exercise repentance toward God, whose law has been transgressed, and faith in Christ, their atoning sacrifice. Without true repentance, there can be no true conversion. Many are deceived here, and too often their entire experience proves to be a deception. This is why so many who are joined to the church have never been joined to Christ. “The carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” In the new birth, the heart is renewed by divine grace, and brought into harmony with God as it is brought into subjection to His law. When this mighty change has taken place, the sinner has passed from death unto life, from sin unto holiness, from transgression and rebellion to obedience and loyalty. The old life of alienation from God has ended; the new life of reconciliation, of faith and love, has begun. Then will “the righteousness of the law” “be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”–The Spirit of Prophecy 4:297, 298.

A dream I had the night between December 1st and the morning of the 2nd 2015:

I saw a field and heard a voice crying for help from below like a damsel in distress but the Spirit told me it was a trap. With this thought came the question; How many have fallen for it? I was able to look within and saw a lot of people had fallen for it. They went down and couldn’t get back out. There were one-way doors and chambers. The first chamber was empty and lonely with a door at the far end. Through this door I saw a small group of people. Each chamber was like a waiting room with groups of people. There were many rooms, each with one-way doors that prevented going back. I was able to pass through to the far end and I saw the experiments. It reminded me of a hospital. I started to warn those in the various rooms and began to block the doors open that they might go back and escape. They didn’t want to go. They seemed in almost like a dreamy state. They were content to stay where they were even with the most vehement warning.

3 dreams I had the night between December 2nd and the morning of the 3rd 2015:

In the first dream, I heard the marching of an army with an Arab undertone to its step. After the procession, I saw 3 groups of women dressed in the old fashioned way with no shoes upon their feet. I was in what looked to be like Switzerland. Each little group formed a pyramid by standing on the shoulders of those below her. 3,2,1. 9 in each group. Just as the formation was near perfection, they began to lose their balance. The ground shook like an earthquake and they fell. Immediately, great stones from the sky, not only falling here but everywhere. Some people were crying while others lay dying. I knew that it was supernatural and my own fear let me know my ill standing before God.

In the second dream the same night, I stood at the right hand of a general or great leader of forces. I explained what was happening and what was to come. I said it would take 2-days march; “this thing was happening”; we needed to prepare for it; and we couldn’t walk on Sabbath but on Sunday.

And a third dream the same night, I saw an entire country wiped out from the sky by war, by bombs in the Middle East and this brought on global martial law.

Butting Heads with Dot Almighty

As soon as there was a dot, I was on it. From AOL 2.0 on a floppy disc to blazing fiber optics. I grew up around computers and when my hands could hold tools, I began working to take them apart. The second half of my years were spent building, rebuilding, repairing and creating. I learned software, built pages, built sites, ran an empire.

I’m done. There’s a dot for everything. hundreds of new extensions have come along since the .com, .net and .org. I have tons of websites for sale that are great for entrepreneurs to start connecting their own dots. Every industry, something for everyone and everything has a price. I’ve got loads of good names full of potential that need new owners.

Let me know your interests, career, etc and I probably have a site you would like.

The dreams of the serpent and the gavel.

I had a dream of a boy wheeling his way through he woods along a rocky path. The trees were ancient and tall. Behind him was a great snake like the King Cobra. I was in the dream but not in the flesh. I could only see and speak. I told him go as fast as he could away. Each time he looked back, the snake seemed larger, closer and more frightful. I told him not to look back, in this was error. The faster he went, the faster the serpent followed. No time to waste looking back. Just when it seemed the serpent was about strike, a rope or vine was let down from above and I told him climb. How high? Just keep going and don’t look down. He climbed into what seemed as high as the clouds and I awoke. There’s no time to look back, we have too much to look forward to. I am encouraged by Jesus words, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” Go forward in strength and courage though the enemy is at your heels.

Immediately, I had another dream. I was in the front row of a church near the pulpit. We were waiting for a man to speak. I thought, it may as well be me…these people are all talking among themselves and wouldn’t care or notice the difference. Just then a speaker came and I told gave him a gavel. I said while the people yet speak amongst themselves, bang the gavel twice and say “Guilty!”. He did and the people were startled to attention. A man was led down the center of the church and off to the left, put into a box…labelled as a heretic and a “free Christian” (slave). He was condemned before the trial. A man wrote in dark broad strokes “heretic” and just below this the letter “C” with a silhouette of the cross in it. The symbol was understood to mean Christian but my mind sees the “C” as the crescent moon. I awoke. Persecution is coming and God’s people are not paying attention. We will be condemned before we are tried. We will be put into the same category or boxes as terrorists. Again the master tells us “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

Why I have the dreams I don’t know, but maybe just to encourage you.

When I hear the word revival, I think of a team of emergency medical workers surrounding a poor soul fighting for life, balanced on that thin line between another chance and too late. I see God’s people in the same condition. The “Truth” is that life-giving jolt our hearts need. But, it must be done in love. The Scriptures are like a double-edged sword and need proper handling. The Holy Spirit (also known as the Comforter) is like the anesthesia that must be present in these most delicate of heart surgeries. Christ said “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”. We are surrounded by a cloud of help and harm, good and bad, influence and confusion. We’re all like trauma victims of Sin; some in a state of fear, some in panic, some in denial, some unaware altogether. My heart is heavy for these souls and how much more the heart of God. He longs to help and save. By all means, whether by heavenly agents, the Holy Spirit or humble and willing followings, His work goes on…and must go on. This is my burden and passion; a love of souls. I want us all to see in person how that song ends that says “When we all get to heaven…”

Sometimes we get discouraged, sometimes even teachers, preachers and entire churches fall into a sort of spiritual slump. This is the work of revival…to lift up Christ as the reason and reward…as the salve and savior. Don’t give up, never give up. The enemy of souls would be most content for us to quit. The enemy is real, but he has an end. He knows this. His time is short and he seeks to steal and kill and destroy everything that isn’t nailed down. God knows he tried, but you can’t keep a good man down. Christ lives! I’ve read the last chapter, God wins. People need to hear that. We could all use more Son light in our souls. I love revival because it saves lives. Who can put a price on a soul…oh, wait…God already did. Read again very slowly and prayerfully John 3:16

Did you know God can do a lot with a little? He can turn nothing into something and make something out of nothing. He did it for me. I was a nothing…at least in my own eyes (we’re all priceless). I tell you, I wandered in the desert of sin 40 years. I wandered while Christ wondered…wondered why I wouldn’t drink the pure and living water. I finally came to my senses, came to Christ and my thirst was quenched. Can you relate? My years of wandering don’t qualify me. I regret them, but I repent (turn away from my old ways because God grants the power to do so) and pray I can redeem that lost time by encouraging others not to waste theirs doing as I did. Let me save you much time and many missteps. He is the answer, He stands at the door of your heart and knocks. I love that. He doesn’t beat down the door and demand you to serve Him or else… How much of a gentleman He is? When He was here, people were mean to Him and rather than fight them, He wanted the best for them. He’s out of their reach now, but He is still reaching out to every one of us and praying on our behalf. What a friend we have in Jesus! It’s not a sign of weakness to be a friend of Christ. Meek and weak are two different things. But, I tell you the truth, the meek will inherit the earth…not only the earth, but the earth made new. That’s awesome! People need to know that.

Today is January 2nd, 2016. Let us see how God works things out. I will speak the words He puts on my heart to anyone who will listen…whether to an audience of one like the woman at the well…or a great multitude that no man can number. It is my passion and deepest heart’s desire to encourage others and tell of God’s wondrous, wonderful, wonder-working power. I will go wherever He sends me. I will not invite myself. I will step forward in faith as the doors are opened.

Do you need revival? Does your church? Here am I.

New Light

We should ask the Lord to open our understanding, that we may comprehend divine truth. If we humble our hearts before God, empty them of vanity and pride and selfishness, through the grace abundantly bestowed upon us; if we sincerely desire and unwaveringly believe, the bright beams of the Sun of Righteousness will shine into our minds, and illuminate our darkened understanding. Jesus is the light that lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He is the light of the world, and he bids us come unto him, and learn of him. Jesus was the great Teacher. He could have made disclosures on the sciences that would have placed the discoveries of the greatest men in the background as utter littleness; but this was not his mission or his work. He had come to seek and to save that which was lost, and he could not permit himself to be turned from his one object. He allowed nothing to divert him. This work he has given into our hands. Shall we do it?

In the days of Christ the established teachers instructed men in the traditions of the fathers, in childish fables, mingled with the opinions of those who they thought were high authorities. Yet neither high nor low could discern any ray of light in their teaching. What wonder was it that crowds followed in the footsteps of the Lord, and gave him homage as they listened to his words! He revealed truths that had been buried under the rubbish of error, and he freed them from the exactions and traditions of men, and bade them stand fast forever. He rescued truth from its obscurity, and set it in its proper framework, to shine in its original luster. He addressed men in his own name; for authority was vested in himself, and why should men, professing to be his followers, not speak with authority concerning subjects on which he has given light? Why take inferior sources of instruction when Christ is the great Teacher who knows all things? Why present inferior authors to the attention of students, when he whose words are spirit and life invites, “Come, … and learn of me”? [Matthew 11:28, 29.]

The Winning Ticket

I won! Want you share in the wealth? Let’s walk the streets of gold together.

I’d Rather Have Jesus

I’d rather have Jesus than silver or gold,
I’d rather be His than have riches untold;
I’d rather have Jesus than houses or land,
Yes, I’d rather be led by His nail-pierced hand.
Than to be the king of a vast domain
And be held in sin’s dread sway
I’d rather have Jesus than anything
This world affords today.
I’d rather have Jesus than worldly applause,
I’d rather be faithful to His dear cause;
I’d rather have Jesus than worldwide fame,
I’d rather be true to His holy name.
Than to be the king of a vast domain
And be held in sin’s dread sway
I’d rather have Jesus than anything
This world affords today…
